
The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, High Chief Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Osun State and Nigeria at large on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, Dr. Omoyele described Ramadan as a sacred period of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, sacrifice, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah.
He noted that the holy month offers Muslims a unique opportunity to strengthen their faith, promote compassion, and reinforce the values of tolerance, love, and unity within their communities.
The Corps Commander emphasized that Ramadan goes beyond abstaining from food and drink, but represents a time for heightened prayers, charity, forgiveness, and peaceful coexistence.
He urged Muslim faithful to seize the spiritual significance of the season to pray fervently for enduring peace, security, and stability in Osun State and the nation as a whole.
Dr. Omoyele further called on residents of the state to use the period to promote harmony across religious and ethnic lines, stressing that collective prayers and responsible conduct are essential to building a safer and more prosperous society.
He reassured the people of Osun State of the unwavering commitment of the Osun Amotekun Corps to safeguarding lives and property before, during, and after the Ramadan period.
According to him, the Corps remains resolute in its mandate to work collaboratively with other security agencies and community stakeholders to maintain law and order across the state.
While wishing all Muslim faithful a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan, Dr. Omoyele prayed that the blessings of the holy month bring renewed hope, divine mercy, and lasting peace to every home and the nation at large.
