The Osun State Security Network Agency, popularly known as Amotekun Corps, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to its esteemed Deputy Corps Commander and Field Commander, Dr. Olusoji Benedict Akanni, on the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree by the prestigious Global Nation Open University.
In a joint statement released by the Chairman of the Board of Osun Amotekun Corps, AIG Wale Abass (Rtd), and the State Corps Commander, Chief Dr. Hon. The honorary degree was awarded in recognition of his exceptional contributions to security and public service, reinforcing his status not just as a tactical leader, but as a visionary thinker in community-oriented security systems. The Global Nation Open University noted in its citation that Dr. Akanni exemplifies the qualities of transformational leadership, grassroots engagement, and operational efficiency in the face of complex security challenges.
